A sound returns, without warning. An image sticks, lingers. Triptica’s tracks take shape in layers, between fragments and loops, with their imperfections. The rhythms stay dusty, the textures granular, marked by time.
Marko Segura, a Costa Rican producer, blends childhood memories, impressions of distant cultures, and lived experiences into his music. The sound emerges, alive, without artifice.
Collaborations, notably with Surfer Gorilla on the Planetarica project, open new directions without dulling the raw, spontaneous character of his work. Triptica keeps a hands-on approach, attentive to the materiality of sound and the small imperfections that give each track its depth.
The project also extends to visuals and digital environments, continuing this way of telling stories and sharing through sound.
In 2025, he left streaming platforms in protest against Spotify’s military investments. He is now focused on developing new projects, ranging from short formats to experimental works and sonic explorations.
