A traveler of sounds and a drummer with a thousand paths, Tchik Tchik Cyrilik blends rhythms and colors from around the world — from the Balkans to Africa, Latin America to India — with the vibrations of contemporary music.
Like a nomadic musician, he moves through encounters, gathering fragments of melodies and pulses that he assembles as one would fill a travel journal: sonic collages, rhythmic sketches, imaginary landscapes.
On stage, alone with his percussion and sampler, he creates a shared space where languages, bodies, and cultures intersect, in a vibrant, borderless dialogue.
Digital Passport, his third album, continues this exploration: a fiery mix of swing, drum & bass, hip-hop, ska, and rock, nourished by the living fusion that drives him.
Over the years, he has shared the stage with Balkan Beat Box, Morcheeba, Dubioza Kolektiv, The Avener, Tagada Jones, Kimberose, La Phaze, Sinsémilia, Tryo, Le Peuple de l’Herbe, Hugo Kant, and many others.
