For over ten years, Mister Mowg has blurred the boundaries between music and image. A cinema enthusiast and vinyl collector, he moves beyond formats, just like his music: multifaceted, free, and ever-evolving. As a producer, director, composer, screenwriter, cameraman, and editor, he oversees every stage of his projects, patiently shaping his opus between machines and film.
His universe blends electro, trip-hop, hip-hop, and echoes of film scores. The result is a raw yet cinematic material, born somewhere between the mixing booth and the darkened theater. Influences from DJ Shadow to RJD2 and Apashe feed a singular, dense, and narrative sound.
With Le Monde des Humains (2022), he delivered a first album with a dense, introspective atmosphere. His next project, Le Vinyle Maudit (2024), takes the dialogue between sound and image even further: a one-hour musical film, dark and hypnotic, etched into a vinyl record crafted as a work of sonic art.
On stage, he connects visuals to his compositions in immersive performances, halfway between live set and projection. A homemade universe, where every sound and every frame bears his signature.
