Born in Poland, Club Alpino has been shaping a deep, pulsating, and hypnotic sonic universe since the early 2000s, nourished by nature and folk tales. His approach blends electronics, repetitive rhythms, dark textures, and organic elements, in a writing style that oscillates between abstraction and evocation.
Active on stage since 2004, Club Alpino performs across numerous venues and festivals in Poland, the Czech Republic, Iceland, Germany, and Lithuania. He shares bills with artists such as Actress, Boys Noize, Faithless, Randomer, and Błażej Malinowski, crafting an immersive stage presence where sound tension and atmosphere take precedence over conventional format.
Founder of the Icelandic micro-label Gusua Records, he champions an artisanal and radical vision of sound, where field recordings, handmade analog loops, and acoustic instruments converse with machines.
His music draws inspiration from the landscapes he traverses, solitary walks, and hidden stories: forests, mountains, folklore, and spectral figures appear as diffuse presences. His compositions often function as fragments of narratives, weaving ritual rhythms, synthetic layers, and nocturnal atmospheres into a dense, inhabited work that remains open to interpretation.
