On Saturday, July 5, Le Refuge de Création du Rupt de Bamont hosted Resistance Day, a day and evening dedicated to music, dance, and celebration. Kulture Botte took part in the event by booking the artists, offering the audience a demanding mix of sounds and unique performances.

The outdoor stage, set in the heart of nature, was animated by N’Zeng, trumpeter of the legendary L’Entourloop and member of Peuple de l’Herbe, and Dr Nokman, a long-standing DJ of the electro and hip-hop scene who spent time in London and collaborated with many iconic artists. Together, they delivered a universe blending hip-hop, trip-hop, reggae, and drum & bass, in a vibrant and warm atmosphere, with the beauty of the Saulxures highlands as a backdrop.

The audience also enjoyed sharp vinyl selections from Prinzmétal (Julien Louët) and discovered the works of the young photographers’ collective Le Matin Rose, as well as Christophe Aubertin’s “Chavandes,” freshly installed at the Refuge.

Between music, spectacular landscapes, and a friendly atmosphere, Resistance Day offered a unique moment where the energy of the artists and the magic of the place fully met.
